Officially, the Emirati club Al Ain qualifies for the AFC Champions League final
Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates qualified for the AFC Champions League final, despite its loss to Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia (2-1), at the Kingdom Arena, this evening, Tuesday, in the second leg of the semi-finals.
The first leg, which was held at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium last week, ended with Al Ain’s victory (4-2), so that the UAE team advanced on aggregate (5-4).
Al Hilal took the lead through Ruben Neves in the 4th minute, while Al Ain equalized through Eric Jorgens in the 12th minute, then Al Hilal scored a second goal through Salem Al Dosari.
In the final match, Al Ain is expected to face the winner of the match between Japan's Yokohama F. Marinos and South Korea's Ulsan Hyundai.
